Each piece of embroidered clothing from RegardStudio is a little work of art, handcrafted with care to bring a touch of Eastern elegance into your life.  The silky threads and detailed designs aren't just beautiful, they tell a story of tradition and skill. These pieces, as wearable art clothing, are made of precious materials and could be impaired if not treated correctly, which makes proper caring and washing methods essential.  In this passage, RegardStudio will guide you on how to treat embroidered clothing correctly.

Washing

Machines can be tough on delicate silk and might snag or loosen those gorgeous embroidered details. Embroidered clothes and accessories feature elaborate stitches and can require special care when it comes to washing. This ensures they keep looking new, year after year. For our embroidered products, we strongly suggest you hand wash them using cold water and a neutral detergent that's soft and gentle. This preserves the glossy look and feel of the Chinese silk embroidery. However, if using machine washing, be cautious that the silk might get hurt, and the silk sew work could tear.

Drying

Avoiding direct sunlight and an unmatched hanger helps preserve the color and texture of the Chinese silk garment. When drying our products, please use a wide hanger and, if possible, dry them in the dark to avoid any shrinking that might occur. Pread it flat on a clean towel, roll it up like a sushi roll to soak up the extra water, then unroll it and hang it somewhere airy and away from the sun. This keeps the fabric from stretching and the colors from fading, so it stays as vibrant as ever

Ironing

Steam spray ironing is recommended. Noted that If the iron beads with water, it is recommended to use a white cloth to cover the iron for ironing. The silk garment could be harmed if it is in direct contact to the iron.

All embroidered garments should be ironed on the reverse side of the embroidered pattern. Do not iron directly on the embroidered design, as the high heat of the iron may damage the embroidery thread and, therefore, the pattern.

Storing

When storing Chinese silk embroidery clothes, avoid friction with rough objects. It’s best to use a cotton dust bag to store them separately and avoid folding them for a long time. Avoid chemicals: do not let perfume, cosmetics, or similar items come into direct contact with the silk, as this could lead to color fading or damage. If you prefer folding, slip some acid-free tissue paper between the layers to cushion the embroidery.

Final Thought

With these tips, your RegardStudio embroidered clothing will stay as stunning as the day it arrived. These pieces are more than just clothes they're a slice of calm, Eastern beauty you can wear. A little care now means you'll enjoy them for years, turning them into keepsakes you'll treasure. Thank you for cherishing these pieces as much as we do  at RegardStudio.
